Merry Christmas Relief!
Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
Author Joan Webb (right top) introduces you to Papa Richard sitting in the middle holding skirming Lesia and Luke. Son Rich and Annie are in front of Joan. Mommy Annie holding one-year old Sam (hey look at the camera, Kid!)
Annika (dressed as Hannah Montana) sits in front of Uncle Rich. On the left: Adam and our daughter Lynnette with Kirsten in front. Max peeks over Aunt Lynnette's shoulder. (Lynnette and Adam have the 3 girls. Rich and Anne have the three boys! How fun!)
Great Grandpa Pressler snapped this picture right before we opened all the gifts on Dec. 16. We celebrated Christmas early.
We all say, "Happy Birthday, Jesus. You're the best gift of all! Ever. We're glad you came as a baby long ago and then grew up to live, love, and die for us."
God gave us that first Christmas gift: Jesus. Grandma Joan writes in her new book, The Relief of Imperfection, "God sent His flawless Son, Jesus, as His exact representation into my imperfect surroundings in order to reconnect me to Himself, the omnipotent Creator and heavenly Father. Such a costly solution to the gap problem between God and me! God might have gotten very pushy about it, yet He treats you and me--His Human creations--with such incredible respect that instead He allows us to decide whether we want to accept His reconciliation proposal. . . . The key to knowing God personally is to simply stop refusing Him."
Give yourself a special gift this Christmas. Talk to God. Make a spiritual connection that you'll never regret. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
